What exactly is a fossil?

Anything more than 5,000 years old that is stone

Any object that has been preserved by humans

Only the footprints of dinosaurs

Any remains or imprints of life that have been naturally preserved

    A fossil is any remains or imprents that have been naturally preserved, dinasaurs are fossils but so are any creatures, plants and animals that have left an imprint in the ground
