    The Q-T interval in the electrocardiogram represents the time during which the ventricles are in systole. It is the time period between ventricular depolarization and ventricular repolarization, that occurs during ventricular systole. Normal QT varies from 0.36 o 0.44 seconds, depending on age and gender.
