Why is Bactria a necessary nutrient of the nitrogen cycle

    Bacteria lives in nodules in the roots of leguminous plants. Plants cannot absorb nitrogen because it is found in the air, so the bacteria "fix" it so that the Nitrogen can be absorbed.
