A geneticist made a cross between plants with smooth seeds, each with a gene that consisted of the alleles SS, and plants with wrinkled seeds, each with a gene that consisted of the alleles ss. What will be the phenotype of the resulting F1 plants? The allele S is dominant to the allele s. A. All smooth seeds. B. All wrinkled seeds. C. One half smooth and one half wrinkled seeds. D. 3/4 will have smooth seeds, 1/4 will have wrinkled seeds.

    Because S is dominant and they are both homozygous.
