When microbes feed on our food, we say it is spoiled. Name three type of preservations that humans use to protect their food from spoiling. Explain how they stop or slow bacterial growth.

    3 types of food preservation includes: Refrigeration, Freezing and Drying

    Refrigeration: slows down the enzymatic activity of microorganisms and reproduction

    Freezing: simply keeps the food cold and resist or at least slow down bacteria growth and survival. Bacteria grow best in warm temperature not cold environments.

    Drying: This simply dries out water. Without water, bacteria cannot grow or reproduce.
