All life is connected. We rely on each other to survive. Plants and trees provide us with oxygen and glucose and we in turn, provide carbon dioxide and water. Think about what would happen if you removed one nutrient such as water. Without water, life would die. An ecosystem involves all biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) parts of a particular region. If you remove one part, you disrupt the ecosystem.
