What would happen to an enzyme if temperature increased to 100 degrees Celsius

    Reaction rate increases with temperature until the enzyme starts to be denatured by the increased temperature, or the substrates are hydrolyzed or oxidized or otherwise degraded at that temperature. With an increase of 100 degrees C, the enzyme will be denatured and the reaction will stop, regardless of the substrate.
