    I found carbohydrates Larger, more "complex carbohydrates" are made by stringing together chains of glucose subunits into di-saccharides, trisaccharides, polysaccharides. Starch is a complex carbohydrate which plants create for energy storage, and is the most common carbohydrate in the human diet.
