What did the Romans build as a step toward environmental management?

    Managing and looking after a port environment. They were also vegetarian. Smoke led to pollution, so there were laws passed that factories could not be built where other buildings could be affected. There were also water systems and sewage systems that carried water to people and carried sewage away from people who could afford it at the time.
