How do organisms get the glucose they need for respiration?

    Organisms get the glucose they need for respiration from foods they eat. Plants make glucose through photosynthesis. When animal a eats plant a, and then animal b eats animal a, animal b receives, not all, but a proportion of the glucose that animal a got from plant a.
