    The relative cases of poisonous snakebites on domesticated animals like dogs will naturally depend on the relative numbers of the animals present in the vicinity and on the conditions under which they are house or kept.

    Plant poisons greatly affect domestic pets especially cats and dogs. They are playful and curious that they are tempt to snack in houseplants that are poisonous to them when ingested. Examples of houseplants that are toxic to cats and dogs are mistletoe, poinsettias, aloe vera, lily, english ivy and azalea. When a pet ingested one of these plants, symptoms may include mild irritation, dizziness or nausea, vomiting to dehydration. The pet should be taken to a veterinary clinic for detoxification measures with supportive care.
