How do plankton differ from nekton?

    Plankton and Nektons are different. Plankton are small organisms that float in the sea or in the freshwater. Example of planktons are diatoms and dinoflagellates. While Nektons are animals that are able to swim in water. Example of Nektons are turtles, sharks and shrimps.
