Different cells in our body carry out different functions even though all the cells in our body contain the entire DNA code. Why do only certain cells produce specific proteins?

A. Because gene expression is a regulated process

B. Because the DNA is arranged differently in different cells

C. All cells produce the same proteins

D. Because the DNA is not the same in all cells

    The answer is A. Different parts of the same genes are expressed, this happens because of a process called gene regulation. The genes are the same in every cell.
