A gene contains the sequence ggctaac. what is the sequence of the mrna transcribed from this strand of dna?

    Adenine pairs with thymine (in dna) in mrna thymine is replaced with uracil. guanine and cytosine pair together in either.

    so in mrna it would be ggcuaac

    (and if you need it, its complementary strand is ccgauug)
