Why does hemoglobin accept oxygen molecules in the lungs but give up oxygen molecules in tissue?

    It is all the matter of concentration gradient in lungs there is high concentration of oxygen so hemoglobin takes in oxygen on the other hand in tissues there is low concentration of hemoglobin so it gives up oxygen.

    concentration simply means (quantity)
