The half-life of radon-222 is about four days. How long will it take for a sample of radon-222 to decay to 3% of its original amount?

    -50% = 4 days

    4/50 = days to decay by 1%

    4/50 * 3 = 3% loss = 0.24 days = 5.76 hours
