    1. It lets them function in daily activities

    2. It is the source as to why organisms can move, respire, sense, excrete, maintain homeostasis and reproduce.

    3. In a cellular perspective, energy by many organism formed by the mitochondria for other organelles to do their function such as manufacture, process and pack enzymes needed for certain cellular operations.
