What sets the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 apart from the Americans with Disabilities Act

    Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act or commonly known as ADA has historical relationships. Both Acts influenced each other through time. Both acts are most likely similar to each other like providing critical importance to the people with disabilities. Although they are more alike but still they differ in some ways such as how they apply for funds. For RA of 1973, funds are applied to federally funded programs while ADA applies to state and local government funds program.
