How does the igneous rock become sedimentary rock? Explain the process.

    Igneous rocks, which are formed from cooled magma, are first weathered and eroded into small bits. These small bits, called sediment, will sometimes be carried into rivers and will be cemented and compacted together, forming sedimentary rocks.
