Why is binary fission in Paramecium considered as asexual reproduction

    Binary fission is a form of asexual reproduction where the fully grown parent cell splits into two daughter cells, so if the paramecium is going through binary fission. It is creating two identical copies of itself which is the very definition of asexual reproduction.

    When the condition are not favorable, Paramecium reproduce asexually.

    Asexual reproduction is when a single organism has the same genes ans the parent.
