Why is gallbladder positioned so closely to the liver in frog?

    The reason as why gallbladder is being positioned close to the liver is because gallbladder stores the bile being produce in the liver. The bile being secreted in the liver and there are bile salts aiding in the digestion as well as the absorption of fats and this then will be stored temporarily in the gallbladder.
