    Explanation:

    Inflammatory response occurs when there is an injury to body tissues which might be caused by bacteria, trauma or toxins. The affected tissues now secrete chemicals which cause the blood vessels to release fluid thereby causing swellings. The white blood cells secrete chemicals and release into the tissues to protect it from outside pathogens.

    Dilation of capillary walls is not involved.
