The basic difference lies in the way the Dna of bacteria and human is being stored in a cell ... The bacterial Dna is not bound to histone proteins, so it isn't as tightly packed as in humans. Also, bacterial Dna can exist both in circular and linear form, whereas Human Dna exists only in linear form.
