    D) Male bees have half as many chromosomes as female bees.

Explanation: Male bees are made when sperm of male does not fertilized the egg of female. So the number of chromosome remains haploid i. e. half number of chromosome while female bees are formed when sperm of male combine with egg of female and produce fertile zygote and the organism formed is diploid i. e. double number of chromosomes.
