trial 1: 167.0g

trial 2: 166.9 g

trial 3: 167.2 g

you know that the true mass of the apple is 172 g. describe your results in terms of precision and accuracy. explain your answer

    The three results are precise. This is because they are all within 0.3 g of one another. However, the results are not accurate, because they are all about 5 g away from the correct value for the mass of the apple.
