    Explanation:

    Aerobic and anaerobic refers the the presence and absence of oxygen. Glycolysis occur in both aerobic and anaerobic condition. As a result when an aerobic organism is placed in an anaerobic environment the glycolysis mechanism remains unaffected but the TCA cycle or tri carboxylic acid cycle is blocked which in turns blocks the electron transport chain because electron transport chain depend on both oxygen and reducing equivalent such as NADH and FADH2.
