Explanation:

The use of contraceptive as hormones can be cyclic or non cyclic. In non cyclic contraceptive the hormones are taken constantly for month and years. The control of pregnancy by the use of hormones directly function on endocrine system of the body. The cyclic contraceptives gives hormones for about three weeks.

The ovulation is reduced by the use of contraceptives. The contraceptives reduce flow of blood. The uterus stimulation and its thick lining (endometrium) formation is inhibited by the use of non cyclic. Thus, non-cyclic methods often do not have any menstruation at all.
