What does the cell do with energy released in ATP breakdown?

    Answer: ATP is just broken once the cell must use the energy for one thing, therefore the nucleotide energy is employed to create molecules, to maneuver things around, and so on.

    The energy released by ATP is released when a phosphate group is removed from the molecule. When phosphate is removed, energy is released and ATP becomes ADP.
