Adhesion and cohesion are intermolecular forces among two molecules. these forces are only called hydrogen bonds when a hydrogen atom and a fluorine, nitrogen, or oxygen atom are drawn to each other. Capillary action is the spontaneous rising of a liquid in a capillary (small diameter) tube.
