Carbon-di-oxide plays a major role in changing the climate.

    Explanation:

Climatic change refers to new weather patterns being seen in the atmosphere. Carbon-di-oxide molecules absorb infrared radiations. So, they are said to absorb heat. This is the reason CO2 is even used for green house effect, in which heat from the sun is trapped causing the temperature to increase.

When carbon-di-oxide will increase, oceans will get warmer. This will lead to an increase in the water vapour. Thus, CO2 will eventually cause the Earth's temperature to rise and hence causing global warming.
