During Pleistocene to the early Holocene epoch
Explanation:
At about 63 million years ago (early holocene epoch), the first mammals and birds evolved. These, together with flowering plants evolved gradually to become the dominant forms on earth. Later on, some of the ancient mammals like mammoth and saber-toothed tiger became extinct.
