Explain why Gram-negative bacteria are more resistant to biocides than Gram-positive bacteria. Be specific and descriptive in your response.     Explanation:

    Gram positive and gram negative bacteria differ in their cell walls. gram positive bacteria have a thick peptidoglycan layer and an outer membrane protect the gram negative against many antibiotics that could otherwise damage the peptidoglycan layer or inner cell.
