Note that, because the teenager front lobe is not fully mature, they can only access it more slowly. This is because the nerve cells connecting their frontal lobe with the rest of their brain are slugging.

Also, they lack myelin present in the area in adult. This myelin acts like an insulation on electrical wire. Lack of myelin or having a thin myelin leads to inefficient communication between one part of the brain and another.

The teenagers are self centered, rude and selfish. This is because they have not entirely reach the stage of thinking about the effect of their behavior on other people.
