    C, because fossilisations would have no skin left. Therefore, A and B are ruled out because the colour and spots are all on the giraffe's skin.

    It cannot be D because behaviour isn't recorded in fossils either.

    Height is the most likely because it can also be a result of evolution and age, and the length of a giraffe's bones will determine its height.
