    When any scientific wants to create a clone of a mammal than a somatic cell is taken from the individual whose clone has to be prepared. Then the DNA of the somatic cell is taken out and is transferred to an enucleated oocyte.

    Then the oocyte can be transferred to a surrogate mother for the development of the fetus. The individual produced by this process is called a clone.
