The copy of the gene is made up from a process called DNA replication.
Explanation:
DNA replication is a process in which same exact copy of gene is formed. DNA polymerase is a special type of enzyme which is responsible for the production of copy of gene. DNA replication is necessary for the formation of new cells in the body in the process of mitosis and meiosis because every cell needs gene for cell division which is provided by DNA replication.
