Answer and Explanation:
During DNA replication, the genetic information is duplicated to ensure that each cell in an organism has a complete and correct copy of the organism's genome. This occurs during each instance of cell division. This way two identical DNA molecules are formed from the original single molecule. Each of the new DNA molecules gets incorporated into one of the two nuclei formed just prior to separation of the daughter cells.
