    The doiminant trait's phenotype is expressed when there are two copies of same dominant allele (TT) OR when there is a pair of allele in which one allele is dominant and the other one is recessive (Tt). For a recessive phenotype to occur the two allele must be of recessive traits (tt).

    Thus the phenotype of allele pairs in the punnet square are as follows -

    TT - Cat with long tails

    Tt - Cat with long tails

    tt - Cat with short tails

    Thus the phenotype ration of cat with long tails to cat with short tails is

    Therefore, the answer is C.) 3 long, 1 short
