How does deforestation by fire or human activity contribute to mass wasting?

Deforestation occurs as a result of removal of timbre from the forest without replacement which could occur as a result of human activities or natural disaster. Natural disaster such as fire outbreak or human activities such as timbre cut for domestic activities would lead to extinction of some plants which would greatly affect or results into loss of biodiversity.
