Endosymbiotic theory deals with the origin of eukaryotes from the prokaryotes through evolution

    Explanation:

Endosymbiotic theory states that eukaryotic organelles such as mitochondria, chloroplast are generally evolved from free living bacteria. Mitochondria is originated from proteobacteria and chloroplast is generated from cyanobacteria through symbiosis.

Both mitochondria and chloroplast contain double strand circular DNA and also have their own protein synthesis machinery but most of the mitochondrial proteins are synthesized within nucleus and then transported to the mitochondria.
