Ribose nucleic acid (RNA) is a single stranded molecule made of a pentose sugar, ribose and one of the four nitrogenous bases. Where its either a purine or pyrimidine; cytosine, uracil instead of thymine, guanine and adenine. It also has a phosphate group and is linked together by a phosphodiester bond.
