    In metaphase 1, the homologous pair of chromosomes lined up at the equator.

    Explanation:

    In metaphase the chromosomes are highly condensed and coiled. The centrioles are at the opposite end of the pole. The 2 pairs of homologous chromosome or tetrads already formed in Prophase 1 arrange themselves on a plane called a metaphase plate for separation. Metaphase 1 will be followed by Anaphase 1, in which homologous chromosomes separate.
