Technological advances, particularly in irrigation technology and industrial production of fertilizers, allowed for expansion of agriculture onto land that was previously unsuitable for growing of crops.

    B. Different chronic diseases such as asthma, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases arose from the air and water pollution of the environment.

    D. New and improved ways in taking care of patients led to decrease in the death rate of patients.

    E. Changes in weapon technology led to improved ways of killing and maiming people at the warfront.

    F. With the invention of Fertilizers and Irrigation infertile lands can now be used for Agriculture.
