In a certain family, one parent has red blood cells with all non-sickle cell hemoglobin (HbAHbA). The other has red blood cells that contain non-sickle cell hemoglobin and sickle cell hemoglobin (HbAHbS). What is the probability that one of the offspring will have sickle cell anemia (HbSHbS) ?
