Why is cloning a form of asexual reproduction

    Because in asexual reproduction, only one parent is needed; unlike sexual reproduction that takes a male and female mating to produce offspring.

    Cloning comes from a single parent that has not mated; the offspring will have the exact same DNA as the parent.
