Selective breeding would no longer have an advantage when dairy cows have large udders and multiple offspring.

Selective breeding would lose advantage, when dairy cows have large udders and multiple offspring.

    Explanation:

Selective breeding though have lead to increase in productivity, but it has many disadvantages too. They are:

Loss of diversity of species There is a chance of genetic mutations, which reversely decrease productivity. The large udder of cow though store higher amount of milk but it is matter of very discomfort for the cow. Offspring with different traits may be generated. Hampers the natural evolutionary process and often lead to suppression of a gene.
