Why are many fruit plants trees?

    A tree produces more seeds than what a bush would.

    Explanation:

    Bushes only produces small fruits like berries.

    Trees produces much bigger fruits which contains more seeds, so when the fruit falls of the tree, the fruit will rot except for the seeds and the seeds would spread to create more trees.
