Probability is the study of the chances of occurrence of a result, which are obtained by the ratio between favorable cases and possible cases.
Explanation:
Probability is a branch of mathematics in which the chances of experiments occurring are calculated. It is by means of a probability, for example, that we can know from the chance of getting heads or tails in the launch of a coin to the chance of error in research.
To understand this branch, it is extremely important to know its most basic definitions, such as the formula for calculating probabilities in equiprovable sample spaces, probability of the union of two events, probability of the complementary event, etc.
