What would happen if introns were not removed during RNA processing?

Translation would not begin

The protein would be the same but much less would be made

The protein would be incorrect and the protein might not function

Nothing would happen because introns are just extra sequences

    Explanation:

    An intron is a sequence of a DNA that is not involved in coding for a protein. If introns were not removed out during the RNA processing, the RNA strand would probably have many problems. Errors would most likely happen in the translation leading to formation of incorrect code for amino acids and proteins and the cell therefore would not get the amount of proteins needed thus less proteins would be made and proteins might not function.
