    Explanation - Transcription is the process in which DNA is transcribed to RNA by DNA Dependent RNA Polymerase enzyme. In transcription process, the double stranded DNA is uncoiled by the helicase enzyme and one of the DNA strand acts as a template for RNA strand formation.

    The DNA and RNA strands are complimentary to each other. The resultant RNA formed have uridine in place of thymidine in DNA. This RNA then undergoes the process of translation following the central dogma in order to form proteins.
